Our story

Why we built settlesmart.

We built settlesmart because we kept meeting the same person. Someone skilled, ambitious, and ready to make a life in Europe — held up not by a lack of talent, but by a process that seemed designed to wear people down. A job offer that fell through over a missing form. A business idea stalled by paperwork in a language they didn't speak. Good people, doing everything right, stuck at a door nobody would help them open.

Many of the people we work with come from India and other countries where the ambition is enormous and the opportunity in Europe is real — but the path between the two is genuinely hard to walk alone. We've seen how much difference it makes to have someone on the inside: who knows which employers actually hire from abroad, which documents matter, and who to call in Poland or Latvia to get things moving.

That's the gap we set out to close — not with advice from a distance, but with one team that carries people the whole way.

So we built settlesmart to do exactly that — across jobs, business creation, and acquisition — with real partners on the ground in the places that matter.
